Ingrédients
250 g 250 Egg whites
500 g 500 Sugar
Instructions
- Using a mixer, whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Add the sugar in 3 batches while keeping the whisk running, this will help to stiffen the egg whites (make them nice and firm).
- Using two spoons, place meringues in your desired shape on a baking sheet. Then bake for 2 hours in a conventional oven at 100°C.
Astuces
- You can pipe your meringues using a piping bag for a more precise shape. Add extra drying time if you are making large meringues. You can leave them to dry overnight after turning off the oven, so they are even drier inside.
