40 g Butter
500 ml Semi-skimmed or whole milk
1 sachet Vanilla sugar
12 g Baking powder
250 g Flour
2 Eggs
Instructions
- Melt the butter in the microwave.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and baking powder. Make a well in the center of the flour, crack in the eggs, and pour in the butter. Whisk vigorously to form a dough.
- Gradually add the milk, making sure to whisk well between each addition of milk to avoid the formation of lumps.
- Pour a ladleful of batter into your hot waffle iron, cook until golden brown.
Astuces
- Avoid opening the waffle iron during cooking so they form evenly. They can be eaten plain, or spread with chocolate spread, jam, a little powdered sugar – a real treat!
